I joined the other three quarters of a million people today and bought an iPhone. I actually bought two (you’re welcome honey!). My waiting experience was terrible (I’ll write about that in another post), but once they actually had phones in the store, the shopping experience was great.
This will probably increase the volume of my post count here, either telling you about all of the great features or complaining. Like the final verdict on the phone, only time will tell.

Yes indeed – the browser is a very cool feature indeed and combined with the screen helped propel the iphone past the WM5 phones out on the market for me. I’m also very excited about the visual voice mail. I loathe the standard voice mail I have with my current phone.
I have one year left on my wm5 xv6700 verizon phone.. I just hope they (verizon) have the iPhone by the time my contract is up and I can upgrade. Hopefully v2 of the iPhone will be out by then as well or atleast have several significant updates to it by then
